This privacy policy explains what information RaceFi (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit racefi.io, how we use it, and the choices you have. RaceFi publishes news, guides and reviews about casinos, sweepstakes sites, sports betting and crypto. We do not sell accounts or run any gambling service ourselves.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact forms. If you contact us, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address and message. Form submissions are stored in our website database so we can reply.
- Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.
Information collected automatically
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Umami and Rybbit, two self-hosted analytics tools, to count page views and understand which content is useful. They do not use cookies to identify you, and Umami is configured to respect your browser’s Do Not Track setting.
- Google Tag Manager. Our site loads Google Tag Manager, which may load other Google measurement tools that use cookies or similar technologies.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site, process technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site and defend it against abuse.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA and hidden anti-spam fields. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and browsing behaviour, which is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms.
How we use information
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To moderate comments and prevent spam and abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and topics readers find useful.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
Our own analytics do not rely on cookies. Cookies may still be set by Google services, by Cloudflare for security purposes, and by WordPress if you leave a comment and choose to have your details remembered. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to third-party websites, including casino, sweepstakes and sportsbook operators. Some of these may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up. Once you leave racefi.io, the other site’s privacy policy applies, and it may set its own cookies to track your visit.
Sharing information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website, such as our hosting provider, Cloudflare, our analytics tools, our email delivery service and Google (for reCAPTCHA and Tag Manager), or when required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form submissions and comments for as long as they are needed to respond or to keep the comment published. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form. Server and security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom and California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us through our contact page. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Age restriction
RaceFi covers gambling and betting topics and is intended only for adults of legal gambling age in their location, which is 21 or older in most US states. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Responsible gambling
If gambling is causing you problems, free and confidential help is available. In the US, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER.
